Kids

Tuesday Children’s Church

A group for 0s to school age and their carers –  meets every Tuesday after noon during term time at 2pm in the Parish Room.

Songs, craft, bible stories, fellowship for the grown ups and then some refreshments.  A wonderful church all of its own centred on the needs of our very youngest parishioners!

All welcome…. we have got a fair few dads who come along too!!

Sunday Kid’s Church

Meet in the parish room during the first half of Parish Mass.  ITs what used to be called Sunday School.  Craft, readings, songs on the theme of the day.  All the kids then rejoin everyone in the nave to celebrate Holy Communion.

Nobody too young or too old to join in… this group takes a break during the summer school holidays and on special occasions like Easter we worship all together… but nearly every other Sunday come and join in the fun.

Messy Church

Messy church takes place through the year at some of the major festivals… like Epiphany, Easter and Harvest.

Normally on a Sunday afternoon its a BIG EVENT with games, crafts, stories, drama, songs and lots of food and fun.

Our next MESSY CHURCH is on Epiphany Sunday 7th January 2024 at 3.30pm

Summer Activity Club

Each year, usually during the first bit of the school summer holidays we run our Activity Week.  Its a bible based week for primary school aged children which meets each day at St Werburgh’s School.  Its tremendous fun and a great way to kick off the school holidays.  We normally open booking for Activity Club in the June but you’ll see information here about it when we do!
