This year let’s make the most of Christmas together

Whether you gather with lots of friends and family or Christmas is a time when you have time alone there are opportunities for us to come together

This Advent and Christmas we are focussing on the Prophet Isaiah, using material from the Ignition Spirituality Centre.  Each Thursday evening we’ll take a different format to explore Advent and prepare for Christmas.

SUNDAY 18th December A FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS – our annual parish carol service returns – a wonderful service by candlelight of carols and readings, followed by mulled wine.

Christmas Eve Midnight Mass @ 11.30pm – a candlelit service of mystery and Christmas joy… come along after the pub!  Come alone… Come with friends and family.

CHRISTMAS MORNING MASS 10am – Carols and Communion 

BOXING DAY 10am – Mass for Stephen’s Day – a gentle quiet service .. great if you’re on your own this Christmas or off on a Boxing Day walk

Advent and Christmas for Kids.

We have Messy Church on Advent Sunday 27th November… all through December we’ve Kid’s Church on Sunday mornings at 10am

CHRISTMAS EVE KIDS NATIVITY 4.30pm  IS A TICKETED SERVICE …. everyone is invited to come along for carols and fun.. why not come dressed as your favourite Christmas Character whether that’s the Shepherds or Captain America!!

EPIPHANY Sunday 8th January 3.30pm we’ve Messy Church with the Wise Ones! Carols, crafts, story and carols followed by plenty of food… all are welcome.

We are very aware that Christmas can be a difficult period….

Christmas can be a stressful time of year, even without a lockdown!  We are very aware that we need to provide activities and services that can engage and provide connection.
